Not sure if I'm at risk
Boyfriend's last girlfriend was early October 2007. He tested negative for HIV1/HIV2 with a rapid oral swab test middle of december (between 8-9 weeks). How accurate is that? We've had unprotected oral sex but always protected vaginal sex. How much at risk am I to acquire HIV? His girlfriend was a waitress in the US, not a sex worker, he never did see a test but she told him she was clean, she was a mother, and just got out of a long term relationship. Am I just being paranoid? I didn't realize until recently he hadn't waited the 3 months they say, it was only around 2 months + 1 week...He says they always had protected vaginal sex but she gave him oral sex, he never gave her.
ok,..i've asked this before and never goT an answer..and I REALLY DON'T know what is a sex-worker or a csw? I live in Wisconsin so I don't know if we have those here? Do they usually carry STD's whatever they are?
She said she is ok and he tested good at 9 weeks so the chances of him actually being infected are extremely low.
As for you, you only had protected sex vaginally, there isnt a risk there nor is there a risk in unprotected oral sex.
Why dont you both go get tested together and forget about it, the test takes 30 minutes.
