CMIA Ag/Ab 4th gen Test

Hi dear friends, I recently made a phone call to a local famous lab in Indonesia where I live. I ask them about CMIA test and they replied to me "CMIA Antigen Antibody indeed detects both elements but the machine does not report Antigen, only Antibody".

As far as I know in few years ago when someone I know did a test with CMIA, the result shows either reactive or non reactive with cut off value. I am confused, does it mean the 28 days or 6 week test not conclusive because it does not tell the Antigen result, meaning the non reactive result which is I expected to be is just telling non reactive for antibody ONLY?

:( please help

Quit calling laboratories and just get tested at 28 days.  Your anxiety is WAY out of proportion to what happened - you almost certainly didn't even have a risk.  Labs know how to run HIV tests, and regardless of how they do the test, the 4th generation test is highly sensitive and will pick up any antibodies at that point if they are present.

Update:
I called another famous lab in my city, they replied "CMIA detects both P24 Antigen and. Antibody and the result of non reactive will represent the nonexistent of Ag and Ab, not seperated". So this is confusing. Both labs are trusted labs.

Is it CMIA Ag/Ab can be set up to report ONLY Antibody?
Please help :(

You have problems understanding what you're told. Your understanding of what the lab told you makes me wonder if you understand logic.

Here is ALL you need to do. Take the CMIA - and you will be finished.
"Quit calling laboratories and just get tested at 28 days.  Your anxiety is WAY out of proportion to what happened - you almost certainly didn't even have a risk. "
@AnxiousNoMore I have repeatedly asking the first lab about their machine test the CMIA and they insist that the test does work on detecting antigen antibody if persist, but the result will only represent antibody not antigen. I am fully understand of what they said.
I will take the CMIA Abbot test for her in a few days, and will let you know. If you were me, a negative hiv person with single exposure with a non csw girl, with all the story I have told you, would you take a test for yourself or move along considered the risk is negiglible?
This is not a treatment center so there is no reason to post your result.
"the 4th generation test is highly sensitive and will pick up any antibodies at that point if they are present. " Therefore you don't keep testing after you get a negative result.
Your story has ZERO relevance. "Take the CMIA - and you will be finished"
@AnxiousNoMore What kind treatment do you mean?
