hiv from food

Is it possible to transmit hiv from pre chewed food if you have inflamation or open sores in mouth? It has been said in the body.com that CDC has reported at least 4 cases in 11 years of transmission of hiv from pre chewed food.

Why are you at a party where people are chewing food and then you are eating it?

The only cases where this was an issue was with infants and toddlers being consistently fed pre-chewed food from an infected parent.  You have nothing to worry about.  If you're worried, chew your own food.
