Unprotected oral at a massage parlor HIV RISK

Got unprotected oral at a massage parlor for 5 seconds. So stupid. A month later after returning home from a trip, Big headache for a day. Then inflamed throat for weeks. Temp climbs in the evening from 97.7 (my normal) to 98.2. Then got super anxiety and stress 24/7. Then bunch of individual red dots on my face for 2 days. Weird gesographic tongue regions come and go quickly. No coughing or pain in throat. Took the Alere Determine 1/2 HIV combo finger stick at 6 weeks. Negative but I don’t trust that result given my symptoms and it’s all over the net that this act was not an insignificant risk. Am I Fld????  Thank you

I'm hearing a lot of anxiety in your writing.  If you've read anywhere on this forum, you know what the ONLY ways are that people get HIV. Having unprotected vaginal sex, unprotected anal sex or sharing IV drug needles. Transmission takes place inside the body. AND, air and saliva inactivate the virus.  No one has ever gotten HIV from oral sex in the history of HIV. Not a single, documented proven case. You aren't going to be the first.  So, this is not a risk. You can't get HIV if you did not have a risk.  And your 'symptoms' are unrelated. Remember, stress and anxiety can cause us to become physically ill. So, I am just going going to say you need to handle that aspect to to things. No risk.

Wow. Thank you so much. I did read this forum but CDC and HEALTHLINE and countless others say it is a “quantifiable” or lower risk and that the urethra mucous membrane is a receptor for HIV. So scared.

Well, theoretical risk is not real world risk. It simply does NOT happen.  So, unless you do one of the three risks, you do not need to worry about HIV.

if you never had a risk, all tests are going to be negative. The 4th generation test does not change after 28 days and is considered conclusive.  That's it. And people on sites claim things. It doesn't really happen, never proven.  Or it would be world wide news.  It just doesn't transmit from oral sex.

Thank you. I was told the 4th gen finger stick blood rapid test can detect at 28 days but I should not rely on that negative result as it could change at 90 days. Very stressed on that one
