You do not need to. But if you want to for peace of mind, go ahead.
thanks again... u have been extremely helpful... as noted in most of the posts on here for those of us who think we have hiv it is hard to move on... based on all I told you do you feel there is any need at all for more tests?
Test for antigens and antibodies
what's the "duo test" I see mentioned on here? thanks
RNA tests are not used for diagnostic purposes. They're for people who already have HIV. You'd have to talk to your doctor. However, you're not in the early detection period anymore. It's time for you to move on.
I'm sorry... I know I said no more questions but like many of the folks on here it's hard to move on... if I was going to seek out a early detection hic test(testing for hiv itself) which one should I do? thanks again

A person normally tests positive on an antibody test about a week after the appearance of symptoms.
only one more question I promise... how long after a person starts having "symptoms" would they test positive with the Clearview test if those symptoms were because of hiv?
According to official guidelines, they are conclusive at 12 weeks. However, it's worth noting that an extreme majority of people seroconvert at 4-6 weeks.
ok... thank you again... one more question... the two tests I mentioned above... the Abs basic test and the Clearview rapid test... how soon after exposure are they generally conclusive? thank you
No it does not change the test
thank you... what about taking antibiotics?
Anything causing you issues is not HIV related. If they persist, visit your doctor.
thank you for the quick response... did I do testing outside the window period? what's your thoughts on about the symptoms? what about the antibiotics? thanks
You never had a risk and your negative tests prove it.
