Condoms

I keep hearing all these weird random facts that go totally aganist wht they taught me in health class... They are saying laxex condoms have microscopic holes that let the virus through...but was far as i know...arent those sheepskin condoms that do that...where are these people getting their facts from. Also people saying like even if you do use a condom theres still a chance to get it...dones any 1 know if theres ever even been a case of hiv beeing tranmited throuhg protected sex...?

latex condoms are effective against hiv. it can't penetrate latex. if it could, doctors wouldn't use latex gloves during surgery on patients, including those with hiv. think about it and let it go.

i think you missunderstood me haha, i know that condoms are effective...im just wondering who the hell keeps telling these pople all the bogus facts.

If you search enough...you can find a whole bunch of innacurate info out there.  What you need to do is find a reputable, trustworthy site and stick to it for the facts...like this one, or aidsmeds.

Latex condoms are completely effective in protecting against HIV.  You are right in that lambskin condoms are less effective and latex (or the like) are the optimal ones to use.  Still, that being said....lambskin condom versus NO condom wouls still be the best bet for protection.
