Cut on Finger & accidentally rubbed into Armpit of...

I was passing my way through a club for halloween last night, someone has no shirt and as I pushed him aside I noticed my fingers slide into his armpit. I later noticed my finger was also bleeding. Is there any risk of getting hiv if that man was infected? could there be blood under his armpit that made its way on to my exposed finger? does sweat do anything, would sweat kill the virus if there was any blood in there?

just a worry wort - Even if you decided to get PEP no doctor in there right mind would give it to you from the exposure you describe.

You are REALLY ok!

I was thinking about getting the anti hiv drugs that if taken within 72 hours will fight any chance of infection. But you're saying I cannot have anything and I shouldn't do anything? I have this really bad headache, been like this the whole day now. Is it related to last nights event?

No matter how you put this one together there is for sure NO RISK of HIV infection from this. Blood or no blood still no risk, If there was any blood it would have been inactive and unable to infect, Plus your finger cut would not pose a risk because the cells HIV need to attach to are not found in a finger cut.

No risk, No Worries, No testing
