HIV infection from syringe during testing?

Hello,

So about 3.5 months ago I had a HIV test which came back negative. It was the second test I had and that also was negative. My fear is about the second test. I had the test at a good lab in Pakistan however I didn’t notice whether the syringe was a new one or not. Soon after the test I was diagnosed with bronchitis and had a slight fever (around 37.5c) but after meds prescribed by the doc I was fine. 2 days ago I started with a cold and today I have a slight fever (37.3). My question is, it possible that I contracted HIV from the second test?

Any answers would be appreciated as I have become increasingly anxious and paranoid.

No, it is not possible. In Pakistan also, Pathological Laboratories do not recycle medical equipment, it is just an irrational thought
