Do I have to test for HIV?

Okay, this is my second topic, but my first one didn't get much of a reseponse and I'm very worried and I don't know how to feel.

I had an unprotected intercourse with someone who claimed to be clean, that was monthes ago, however it's important to note that atleast a week after the exposure my face started devolping acne and pimples and they got worse as time went on.

I did a two HIV tests already, one that was a month and half and another that was 3 monthes from the exposure, both were negative.

However my facial acne is freaking me out, because it doesn't seem to be reacting to any of the products and medication I have been using. I went to the dermatologist and he prescribed Doxocycline which caused me GERD and then some shortness in breathing which I sometimes feel it's related to HIV and pneumenia and thus causing myself more stress and fear.

Do I have to do another HIV test? I'm really worried and I don't know, my case is consfusing me, I also have a bump in my lip that seems to be mucus retention cyst or sometimes I feel it's ulcer/canker sore.

whatever is going on with you has NOTHING to do with hiv.  you have a conclusive negative result.

see your doctor about your other concerns...it's not hiv.

I'm a male, and yes, I was prescribed Doxycycline for two monthes by the Dermatologist, and during the time I used to take it, I started having chest pain and shortness in breathing, these side effects seemed related to GERD, as the chest pain went off after taking Antacids, however I still suffer from occasional shortness in breathing, and I sometimes fear it's caused of HIV (one of the possible Acute HIV infections infecting the respiratory system) rather than GERD.

Hi,

Are you male or female?

3 months is conclusive
Doxycycline has side efffects and it is used for acne depending on dosage......go ask ur dermatologist again and se what is best to do.

Good Luck,
