You never had an exposure. Oral sex does not transmit HIV.
Teak,
Thanks for responding.
But some part of my question still is unanswered and I am curious to know the answer.
Every one widely believes that Saliva acts as a barrier and has the potential to disable/kill HIV - but people say HIV is found in saliva.
How is this possible ?
If saliva is a bad environment for HIV then how does live in Saliva ? and if so - is it just that the HIV is present in saliva but is of no use or potentially a dummy floating around..?
Please let me know.
Thank you all for support and assurance.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TEAK
Saliva is not infectious. Saliva contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission.
If you have an open cut in your mouth then HIV can be passed on, but it is a very very small chance that it would be passed on as it take 3 steps for HIV to enter the body and get a foot hold of you. Quantity of the HIV quality (how pure it is( HIV do,s not all ways copy,s it self good that,s why it,s a long term illness now, but it has it,s other down side as it mutants all to easily) and route (ie) like i said at the top a cut in mouth .
Do not pull up old threads and post to them if you have a question start your own thread and the information you gave is totally incorrect.
