Donate blood

When someone within window period and  donate blood but hiv test shows negative. Will still infect?

Again, the blood supply is safe, there is nothing to worry about.

I agree with the nurse,very safe and they use a test called the RNA to screen blood donations and it's ultra sensitive.Nothing to worry about.

No worries.  The blood supply is safe and has been so for a LONG time.  VERY sensitive test are used to detect HIV.

Your relative is fine.  I've had 2 transfusions myself through the years and was not worried a bit.
