HIV fear, Please help to answer

Hi, I had fresh cut on my finger which is about 10 hours from the time of cut. I went to a chicken shop to buy chicken where the lady packed chicken and gave the cover to me. Without thinking, I holded the cover and it seems to be wet and my cut on finger also become wet because of holding cover. I doubt if the lady who gave the cover has HIV and her blood might have been on cover and touched my cut finger ...Worried ..please help to advise. I am married and have kids...Can I proceed to have my sexual life with my wife if no risk ?

I'm sure you were told on a previous thread what is and is not a risk.  Risks include ONLY unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse or sharing IV needles. Non risks include everything else.  Touching blood, being near blood are not risks for HIV.

thank you so much for your response. I am always thinking about the same thing..I can ignore this as there is NO RISK and continue my sexual life with my wife correct ? Please answer on this ....
If you can't accept the answers that has been offered to you from here, you need to go see a psychiatrist in person. Because, in the history of HIV no one has contracted the virus in the fashion you have described and you are not going to be the first one. There was no risk, testing is not necessary.
Thank you so much...Will ignore this incident and move forward ...

You have no risk. The virus is inactive in air. You can only contract hiv through unprotected vaginal, anal sex and sharing needles.
