You never had a risk and don't need testing.
Thanks, that was another questions I had;
A positive HIV person deactivates the virus in his-her own saliva, right?
Thanks, I hope my test will come out negative. =)
Saliva deactivates the virus.
You did not have a risk
I will move on, so, what the people say about the razor blade, cannot be a way to get HIV, right? (I say this because a doctor told me: get tested to be sure)....
THanks.
PD: my concern about saliva is because in all websites they say saliva contains the virus.
There are some people that have been exposed to HIV but never been infected,but these people are a rare group.Saliva is not infectious.You never had a risk so it might be time for you to move on.
Sir, about the infectiousness of HIV, I've read that a certain amount of virus is needed to infect. Is that right? If a few virus copies enter the blood stream, can the immunitary system get rid of these few copies? Can I be sure that I won't be infected?
Moreover Teak, as a matter of conclusion to another question I posted. If saliva from a HIV+ enters your body (as I said, through a pimple), is there a risk of infection?
Thanks, and just give me some confidence to trust and think I'll be fine.
You did not have a risk. HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
