Dramatic Risk!!!!!!

Dear All,
I understand that this is low risk but still it worries me.
Last night I was at a dinner party at my friend's, one of the guests is CONFIRMED HIV POZ for 2 years.(everyone at the dinner party knows he is POZ)
There was a dog in the house and we did not know what happend, but the dog bites the guy's hand and there was a slight bleeding from the bite mark, he went to the bathroom and cleaned it and put a bandage. everyone was drinking and did not care about that very much. but later on, this guy helped with making veg salard and cook some food, and he served the plates!!! and we ate the food he made!!!, what if his blood got into the salard and we ate it,will it be a risk??? i had an ulcer inside my mouth!!!!!! i worried for the whole night!!!!!
please advise

Teak is not threatening anyone, he is posting the rules (made by MedHelp) so they can be followed.  The rules are posted on the main forum page.

You got an assessment, you can believe it or not, that is not our concern, but anything else is just excessive posting.

You never had a risk, and probably need to educate yourself about HIV.  Obviously you have a very overinflated view of the virus, which is clear due to how fearful you became after being around a + person.

Unless you had sex with him, or shared needles with him, you were not at risk.  End of story, get yourself some professional help.  We have nothing more to say.

''put yourself in my shoes'' is what you wrote but walk a day in Teaks shoes. He is HIV+ and has been for 28 years. I can just imagine what he's been though. All you need to do is accept the facts that you had no risk and stop posting and you won't be warned. There are other forums on here if you need to discuss stress and anxiety issues.

you can threaten people here though I thought we are here to seek for advice and you are here to help.
deleting my account does not matter at all, but put yourself in my shoes, if you have contact with someone who is confirmed POZ and then start to have symtoms like infection, that would worry you more or less.
Maybe this is not medhelp but medhell. do whatever you like to do to suspent this account.

Hiv spreads by blood transfusion..
Now go and underatand what is transfusion..
Its not eating food which made by an hiv positive guy with 20 drops of his blood..
If it would have spread like this whole world would have been on ART..

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusively negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusively negative results or a no-risk situation will be based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
    * After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
    * Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
    * Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.

Reread the answers you've already been given.  YOU DID NOT HAVE A RISK.  Also, him getting saliva in your eyes is also not a risk.

Get yourself some professional help,  it's just not normal to be so convinced you had a risk when you have been told over and over that you haven't.

by the way, his saliva was sprayed into my eyes too when he talked to me nearby, i can feel his saliva on my face, so his saliva must have gotten into my eyes....... I am so scared now...... the symtoms are so similar.......

I think I got symtoms.
4 days after the dinner party, i have high fever, cough, running nose, rashes on both of my legs and amrs and on my back too, about 30 rashes, big one, but no feeling, not painful or itchy at all,my whole body is in pain, from my understanding, having fever means that virus is inside the body and the immue system is fighting the virus, so I think I got it, if I do a anti-body test, will it be accurate?

This is irrational thinking.  It wouldn't be a risk even IF his blood got on your salad.

So now it went form "what if" to his blood was on the salad. You have been told you didn't have a risk, believe it or don't our answer is not going to change.
