People say a lot of things that are not fact and the fact is there are no tests marketed or sold to give a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months post exposure.

The need for a repeat HIV test if still within the window period after a specific exposure should be discussed. Although fourth generation tests shorten the time from exposure to seroconversion a repeat test at three months is still recommended to definitively exclude HIV infection.
I've read somewhere that the duo test is pretty much conclusive at 28 days but double check its the duo test and not just the p24 antigen. I think if you have the test which you can get at 10 days you are advised to go back again but with. 28 days duo test it's considered if it comes back negative that your ok but it become a 0.1% more accurate at 3 months. Yes, and your 3 month test will be conclusive.
I know it was a big mistake, but I need to know am I infected or not, and 11 week test is an excellent indicator as mentioned in other pages.
You should have thought about that before you decided to have unprotected anal sex. It's not like they just found out how HIV is transmitted.
So, what about my 11 weeks, and what possibility to turn positive in 12 week, I need some reassurance to know what is my case, I didn't have any fever through this 11 weeks
