ELISA Test

7 years ago I had unprotected intercourse with a girl 2 times and I have been tested for HIV every year since. The problem I've been having is that little after having sex with this girl I got symptoms that HIV positive people get. I have always had the concern of having contracted HIV and this is why I get tested every year. I met my wife and got married about a year after the encounter. I have seen doctors during these 7 years and complained about the exhaustion, acne on my back, face and painful lymph nodes in my armpit, but they write it off as some other cause. My wife has had reoccurring UTI's and rashes in her armpits too. What I am most worried about is that we had a son about a year and a half ago, even though both my wife and I have tested negative for HIV is there still a chance we are positive? When my wife found it she was pregnant they had her do an HIV test and it was negative. Before she gave birth they had her do another one and she was negative. I took one about 3 weeks ago and it was negative. Is there a possibility that there are not enough HIV antibodies in our blood after 7 years of exposure? I've read that there is a seroconversion period and it is not detectable, but it's been 7 years for me. Can it be possible that this has not occurred after so many years? Am I just paranoid and it could be that I have some other STD and not know it? Thanks in advance.

Any test you did after 3 months of the exposure, was conclusive. You o not have HIV, move on with your life.
