CD4 so low

Hi everyone,
I am 23, straight male. I had a broken-condom encounter when having sex with a Thailand hooker 2 months ago.
I asked her to test HIV with me but she refused. Some local guys told me she often had African client, many of whom are stowaways from west Africa.
I'm so sad and got tested. The test shows negative but my CD4 is just 580. I hear some places require treatment when CD4 is below 500. I'm scared to death the cd4 is so low!!!!
What's ur opinion?

Thanks.
So far I've got 2 months negative chemiluminescence method, and 580 CD4, CD4/CD8 is 1.02
Is it normal for an uninfected guy to have so low a CD4 amount?

It doesn't matter. If you test negative at 3 months you are in the clear, a modern day antibody assay tests are advanced tests leaves nothing to be desired further.

You have been advised about the "rare" strains already.

You need to be working with a mental helath professional.  You do NOT have HIV..and the fact that you're still trying to convince yourself that you do is indicative of a high level of anxiety.

There's nothing more we can tell you here.

That is not true. There are no rare undetectable strains.

Thank u, LL
But I'm still worried about HIV, since my health has never been so bad in my life time. I read on the Internet that some very rare strains of HIV are not detected one time, even after 12 weeks....
I know they are rare, but I am just afraid.
The dr just treats my syndromes every time, but he could not tell me if they are related to some common thing.
I want to know, in the US, if someone were in my situation, who could he turn to for help? What test should he take to detect the rest chances of rare subtypes of HIV?

your 80 days test is NOT going to change...you DONT have hiv.

if you are having health concerns, work with your dr.  this is not a diagnostic forum.

It's 80 days post exposure, and my CMIA showed a negative result again. However, the result could not make me believe that I'm not infected, because the variety of opportunistic infections these days have almost killed me...
At first it was continuous fever for several weeks. Then my muscle and bones hurt for several weeks. And my scrotum festers and my dental ulcer fester for 2 weeks. I am very cautious about my hygiene and never have any sex again. I take a bath and change my underwear every day.
The symptoms along with my 580 CD4 count, what else could it be if it's not HIV?

Not an HIV concern.

Please help!!!
Today my right side of scrotum itches very badly... and not until just now have I got a break to have a look at it. I saw the right side of its skin fester, which is red and looks like the skin was peeled. And some pus was left on my underwear....
what is that ?

Get of the CD4 kick and the KS kick and obtain your conclusive test result.

Thank you, Teak.
So do you think my CD4 cannot decrease from 580 to below 200 in a month? And my symptoms are not AIDS-related?

Below 200 and there is no way possible you'll get a level that low this quick. Just obtain your conclusive test result as you advised.

Dear teak,
It's been almost 3 months since my exposure.
I want to know at what level of CD4 can I have Kaposi sarcoma?
I have had a small bump on my neck for several weeks and I don't know what it is....

That is normal. Your CD4 and CD8 percentage doesn't mean a damn thing to anyone that hasn't been diagnosed as positive.

Gosh..... Mine is quite close to it....and it seems there's no other explanation for it..
I read the ratio of CD4 to CD8 is relatively more stable. Can u tell me the normal range of that ratio?
I really appreciate ur dedication and patience:-)

Thank you, Teak.
I'm still very worried about my CD4.
What is the range of a healthy guy's CD4 amount?
I read it varies from time to time, then how can it be accurate and meaningful? Need to test several times to get an accurate result?

Thank you very much!
Do you mean a 3rd generation ELISA can detect all strains in the known universe at 3 months?
My provider said chemiluminescence test is sensitive, is it as reliable as ELISA?

There are no rare strains that can't be detected.

Thanks for ur reply.
If I test negative at 3 months post exposure, what about those rare strains or African-related groups?
