HIV Exposure with HIV+ man.

Hey everyone. I went on a date with a guy February 11th, 2023. We ended up spending the night together. We made out A LOT. He gave me oral for about a minute and then we jerked each other off and both ejaculated on ourselves. We cleaned off with the same towel and cuddled the rest of the night. I had a routine physical where I STD test every year 3 weeks after that incident exactly and I was HIV negative. Last night he texted me and he told me he just found out he was HIV positive and he just started treatment. What is my risk and should I test again at the 4 week mark this weekend? Thanks!

It is time to take your own advice,> "I realized that no one really comes back to post their results but just letting everyone know that my 3 month test was negative, so people going through similar situations, that was my end result after three months which is a really big relief and I guess my anxiety really does get the best of me sometimes."

That was from a possible exposure a few years ago.
This is a different scenario with a known hiv positive partner.
No risk, alittleworried17. You were told in previous posts what the risks are for transmitting hiv and they haven't changed. The only risks are to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share IV needles to inject drugs. Oral is never a risk nor is kissing or cuddling. Air and saliva inactivate the virus. And NO no and no, the other person having HIV does not affect this. considering how often you test routinely, you may suffer a bit of anxiety. But you were at no risk from this exposure.
No it's the same exposure, because you've posted about oral before. You can't get hiv from a negative person, so the advice before applied to a positive person, just like now.
