Worried about HIV

Dear Doctor

I am a 28yr old guy and currently in a four year realtionship with my girlfriend, we have unprotected sex as we have been a couple for four years and were both tested before we started going unprotected.

Well on the 18th of May this year I fulfilled a long held fantasy of mine which was to have sex with a transsexual. The t-girl was an independent escort who I booked to go and see.
We kissed, and fondled each other, I gave her unprotected oral and I received protected anal sex from her for about 5mins. From what I could see the condom was intact the whole time and did not break or slip off but I can't be 100% sure as I couldn't see to well in the position I was in.
The t-girl told me it would cost extra money if I wanted her to ejaculate, which I did not pay her so at no time did she ejaculate.
When I got home, after going to the loo I noticed I would get small spots of blood on the toilet paper when wiping.

Fast forward to the end of July and my girlfriend started to experience night sweats, she would be hot and clammy to touch but said she felt cold and would sweat. This happened about 4-5 nights in a row and the stopped for a few days but then started up again last night. She hasn't complained of any other symptoms but she generally does not make a fuss of any illnesses she has anyway.

I myself can't remember getting any particular symptoms although I did have aching legs a couple of weeks ago which have now gone and also now have a bit of a sore throat.

I am concerned that I may have contracted HIV through the meeting with the t-girl and passed it on to my girlfriend thus explaining the night sweats.

Could a Doctor please answer the following...

1) Did my encounter with the escort place me at any significant risk from the activities I mentioned?
2) If a condom breaks or falls off during sex would it be obvious?
3) Could the night sweats alone that my girlfriend is experiencing be a possible symptom of early infection?
4) For early HIV infection would the night sweats appear for a few days, go away, and the come back like they have done with her?
5) Please summarise if I or my girlfriend are at risk at all, and if so how likely?
