Potential risky encounter and lots of strange symptoms

I met a girl in a bar in Addis Ababa and took her home to do the deed, we had completely protected vaginal sex (or so I believe I do not really remember if there was a condom break).

17 days later I developed nausea and severe sore throat with fever, this lasted about 24 hours, after which I have been experiencing fatigue and the day after I had a small (3cm) raised rash on my leg near knee which went after antihistamines. I remained on and off fatigued and nauseous for 3 days then had another rash (similar as before) on my shoulder.

Since then I have now had headache, sinus pain (on cheek) and painful lymph nodes (not swollen now) under the chin. this has lasted over 2 weeks now and as I am not sick it is causing me some concern.

I have heard that the ARS Symptoms come and go together, is this true as I guess apart from the 24 hours with rash, fever, sore throat and nausea.

Thanks

StoP reading about symptoms.. They are unreliable! You used a condom so you're safe.. Move on

I know you are right, but the symptoms are there and fit the time scales. I am concerned because I am never sick for this long and I do not think it is anxiety as I have only just thought about HIV.....

How obvious would it be that the condom broke... I remember walking to the bathroom to take it off and throw it away, even blind drunk you would know right???

When a condom fails it is very obvious, you would have known without a doubt.

Condom failure is obvious- it shreds into pieces exposing your entire penis. There would be no way you wouldn't have noticed it when you took it off. You had a routine episode of protected sex and no reason to be concerned about HIV.
