HIV and Red Palms

I gave oral sex to a guy and a few weeks later I noticed my palms became redder. They were a little red before but I’m pretty sure the redness became worse. And they stayed that way, red pretty much all the time. It’s been a year now, and still the redness. Are consistent red palms ever a symptom of HIV?

Risks for HIV are:
1) Having unprotected penetrative anal or vaginal sex, OR
2) Sharing IV drug equipment with other IV drug users.

You didn't have a risk for HIV.  Additionally, having red palms is not a symptom of HIV infection.  Talk with your doctor about the non-HIV related cause of your red palms.
