may i infected with hiv
I am 50 year old man and I had protected oral sex 3 weeks ago. but i doubt my female partner may had some wound and scratch on her lip and in my skin too in our contacts. Ihave very similar signs to those of mikes799. I hope he tested negative for in tn his further tests. please informe me about mike if you know. could I have been infected . i have dry mouth ,burning lip, anxiety ,and burning tongue tip. thank you nasmand
Oral sex does not pose an HIV risk in the first place. Also , you had protected oral sex so you are not at risk. HIV is transmitted through unprotected anal or vaginal sex or Intravenous drug use. I suspect the symptoms you are experiencing are a product of anxiety over this incident .
