HIV question

I asked a question on this website already about an incident I went through however I do have some more questions regarding hiv. I know you can only get hiv in 3 ways however I’m sure there’s situations that you can acquire hiv without having “penetration” or sharing “needles” etc. For my situation I had a pap done and the speculum looked like it was sitting on top of dried blood. Now of course I know most hospitals are sanitary and take measure to ensure the environment is sterile and if I had that much anxiety I would’ve asked to be placed in another room but I was too scared and in the moment I was thinking “no it can’t be blood, surely they sanitize” and talked myself out of saying anything but the more reviews I read about that facility the more I realized it wasn’t just me with this issue and sanitation is a common complaint for the facility. I did do research on hiv and read in many articles that hiv can stay alive on surfaces for a very long time however there are other articles that state it’s a fragile disease and dies almost immediately when exposed to air. I would like to be more knowledgeable on this but I just keep reading mixed information regarding hiv. Whoever responds please be gentle. I’m already embarrassed and disappointed with myself that I didn’t speak up for myself at the facility.

No matter how many different ways you tell us the same story about this event, it will NEVER turn into a risk for HIV.  The sites that say HIV can "live" on surfaces are technically correct, but it loses its ability to infect almost instantly when exposed to the environment.

Move on from this event.

I like how you said “technically correct” it’s not technically correct, it IS correct. You can move on from this post.

This sentence of your post is illogical because the first part contradicts the second part. "you can only get hiv in 3 ways however I’m sure there’s situations that you can acquire hiv without having “penetration” or sharing “needles” etc."
You have no medical training so should have no confidence in your ability to interpret medical articles, however you only trust your own beliefs. Your above claim shows you think everyone here knows nothing about hiv transmission and you know everything, which also makes ZERO sense.
You actually did zero research; you just read some articles which is not the same thing.
First step to peace is to admit your weakness having no medical training, and quit googling cold turkey. Until you do that, you will live in anxiety caused by your own actions.

Yeah you shouldn’t be on this site. The reason for this site is to get some insight/ask questions and you were focused more on putting me down rather than the question I had posted. Do better.
