Is tranmission possible through oral sex?

Hi! I am very paranoid right now. A year ago I had a contact with a guy (later I found out to be promiscous). We had a brief relationship and we engaged in oral sex and genital rubbing - no penetration. 2-3 weeks after I had a sever flu-like symptoms. Prior to that, 2 weeks before we had the said contact, he had flu-like symptoms too and had rashed on his face. Is it possible that he has HIV and transmitted it to me?
I seeked medical attention during the flu-like symptoms and I had my blood checked and bacterial infection was found.
I am very paranoid right now :-( please help!

Oral sex is not a real risk for infection.  You had your blood checked and a bacterial infection was found.  That means you had a bacterial infection.
