HIV results/scale

Why do results show Reactive or Non Reactive, and then the value scale shows less than 1? Why wouldn’t it be .00? And any reason why it would say nonreactive .1DX one year and .2 the next year? Why wouldn’t the value reflect .00 or at least not change at all?

I'll be brief, since you have never mentioned an actual risk for HIV: The values are index values, and those will vary from day-to-day with all lab tests, not just HIV tests. They don't mean anything, and you should ignore them.
