Thanks. But how about in the scenario that he suddenly "pushed" his gential inside my mouth, which may touched the lining of the throat (with sore throat or infection). I didn't wash my mouth with water or swallowed (my mouth water) after exposure until I went home 35 to 45 mins later. Would that make a difference?
Also, I read some information that one should not brush his teeth immediately after the exposure. So I waited. But then, when I was lying on the bed later, I was so tired and got asleep and didn't brush my teeth until the next morning. Would that make a difference as well? Thanks a lot for your advice
Saliva contains at least 12 chemical compounds that would neutralize the virus before it's able to infect. Air has the same effect.
The only ways HIV is spread are:
-Unprotected vaginal/anal penetrations.
-Sharing needles to inject drugs.
-Mother to child.
All the best.
