Is 12 weeks the same as 13?..

Hi.
When are hiv test conclusive?
Using the test hiv screen 4th gen wrfx. ( name of test, I think it only looked for aNtibodies..)
**is it 12 weeks or more like 13 since 13 is 3 months...***
Also does it matter how high your risk is? Or are all test conclusive no matter how high risk your exposed is?
Thanks in advance.

You have been adequately advised that you are conclusively negative.  The idea of "late" antibodies is a myth.  There isn't anything more to say about this event or your testing.

Cheating ex boyfriend. Gave me and sti and we obviously were not being safe.... thought I could trust him. Funny thing is I found out after leaving him! So this has made me so anxiety ridden. And nervous

You're over-thinking this.  It's ~90 days.  But if you take it at, say, 88 days, your result will not change.  Even 90 days is conservative given the sensitivity of modern tests.

Ok cool thanks!
Do you think a 84 day test will change at 6 month test?
Btw! I tested negative at 84 days! My risk was pretty high lol why I wanted to make sure to be confident I am hiv free and for the 6 month test not to be so anxious!
No - no one who is the least bit educated about HIV even recommends a 6-month test.  It's an outdated recommendation.  Your 84-day test is conclusive, and it makes no difference what the risk was.  If it was 4th gen, it looked for antibodies and antigens, which don't change based on whether you had a high or low risk.
Yes it said hiv screen 4th gen wrfx! I took one before 84 days as well!
Now I'm wondering why my nurse st my doc office told me my doc wants me to test at 6 month?
She told me for " Saftey" but also bc of my exposure. This is what made me worried!
Oh, we see that a lot.  Some say that because they legitimately have not kept up with the changes in expert opinions, and others say it out of being way overly cautious.  It's totally up to you, but if you take a 6-month test, it will be negative.

What was your exposure? I'm wondering if they didn't worry you unnecessarily.

Do you think I could still have hiv after that risk? And even after testing neg at 84 days from last sexual exposure with him? Not sure if that pushes back the test date?
Of course not.  I mentioned before that the text doesn't care WHAT your risk is.  It makes no difference to the timeframe it takes to be accurate.

Sorry that your ex was a jerk and put you through this, but you are HIV-negative and can confidently move on.
Yes he is a major one!
This was all reassuring that I will not take him back this time! Just the icing on the cake...
Thank you for ascruallt explaining this to me... all docs have done since i had this issue were throw tests at me and worry me with no information!
I'm much more confident now to take my 6 month ( gonna take it to just feel more better and safe) thank you so much h you are wonderful!
I have one more question.... 3 weeks after my last test on Jan 18th... I was sick back to back for three weeks.. got better on my own didn't have to go to the hospital  but would this be late aNtibodies coming up? Sorry for the annoyance
