HIV survival

Hi Guys
Just wondering how long HIV survives out side a body.
Is it fair to say few second to few minutes (up to 3 miin?)

and second how long can the virus survive in the fridge?

Thanks

Your doctor should not have encouraged you to go running all over the Internet looking up HiV for your OCD. There is far too much conflicting information out there that will only make your OCD worse. All you need to know are the facts about transmission, that being that HIV is probably one of the easiest viruses to avoid as long as you never have unprotected sex with someone whose status is unknown and you never share a drug needle with someone that has HIV. Literally following this simple direction will 110% guarantee that you won't ever get HIV. It's that simple.

Do you know a reliable website to get facts about HIV other than this one?
I have moderate OCD and my doctor told me I should read more about it (from a reliable site) so as to have better knowledge about it and start to recover that way.

No issue , no testing required... HIV causes through unprotected sex ( vaginal and anal),mother to child and IV drug users... In ur case virus becomes in active in air , if it was related person having HIV, which is low chance. Keep cool and move on

Thanks Tensed

My exposure was in a chocolate in plastic  container that I ate and then I I found a smugs of blood in the container. the container was in the fridge. Only reason I am kinda weird is because I bit my inner cheek and wounded it a little  before eating the chocolate.
