Onsen Risk

I recently went to an japanese onsen which requires all guest to be naked. At the end of it I went into a mineral bathtub where the water flow is slower and the water movement were non existent due to the slow suction filter. I were in that tub with 3 other guys. What's my risk of contracting hiv as Im naked and had my full penis and uretha exposed and the other two guys are both positive. Im regretting now. Please advice. Do I need PEP for soaking in "stagnant" water naked with 2 positive guys? Thanks.

You never read about people getting HIV in pools because it can't happen, otherwise no one would use them. No risk=no disease.

I understand where you're coming from. But when we talked about pool, those are treated with chlorine and etc unlike the one im in where it's untreated. Is that right sir?
Thats why I term it as "stagnant" water due to the small tub and almost non chlorine and slow moving water. Hope the additional info helps. Thanks.
You had no risk of HIV because you can't get HIV from touching. You are so safe that you don't even need to test. PEP would be a waste.

HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead outside the human body so it can't infect from touching it. It isn't a worm that could burrow into your skin anyway. It doesn't matter if you were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only adult risks are unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal sex or sharing needles that you inject with but you didn't do that so you had no risk. This sentence is all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV.
Even with blood, lactation cuts, rashes, burns etc air and water does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching activities. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established so nothing you can add will make your situation a risk.
HIV is inactivated outside the human body.
