" I am not actually concerned about the incident happened. I got a negative test after 3 months." Your post here is illogical. See your doc or a therapist for a one on one discussion so they can figure out why you are worried.

Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  (maybe blood). No hiv worries, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the worst that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life. For example in your current situation the answer would be NO, I DIDN'T because there was no unprotected penetrating anal or vaginal sex nor was there any use of a shared hollow needle used for injection, so obviously it is a NO risk.
How did blood get flushed on your face?
Hi Anxious no more, Could you pls give me an advice regards to my ex doctors comment. My life is getting hell. Kindly help me soon.
How did blood get flushed on your face?
When did this happen?
its because i met an accident. Its long time back actually. I am not actually concerned about the incident happened. I got a negative test after 3 months. I am concerned about the doctor's comment. He is said if the blood is flushed within milli seconds there is a chance to get infected. I
After heared the comment from him i cannot even move on.   Is there is any fact that milli second chance? or he meant it in laboratory condition ? or its just only a theoretical negligible concept? but he said technically there is a chance if the blood flushed within milli seconds. then He only said to me after a second it will not infect. So all the time my mind is urge to count seconds before touching anything. I can't afford in my life even this milli seconds chance too. Kindly help me Sir. How could i ignore that doctor's comment. Because i trusted him a lot.
Your test was a waste of time if you reread about "No, I didn't. " There is no reason to keep asking about millisecond or any other detail you can think of or else we will be here all night ---------- when the answer is No I didn't.
Besides, any test is conclusive after 3 months so you need to stop worrying and go back to your happy life.
Could you please explain why there is no reason for milli seconds worries. ? I don't have tension for the incident happened. Its cleared. But in future, i am worrying by thinking a chance from outside.
I have no idea why you asked that last question. This is an hiv prevention forum not a biology class ---- but the answer is this > your placebo test was negative so it is time to move on.

This is an hiv prevention forum, not a forum to discuss ways to prevent blood splatters in the eye.  Consider therapy if you are going to continue worrying about a non event because you have wasted a lot of your life on this rather silly fear, and I'm thinking you have better things to do from now on. " I am worrying by thinking a chance from outside.".
I didn't understand your reply. Could you please please explain one more time. If you spend a little bit time more, it will make my breath smooth.
So if blood come in contact with our mucous  within 0.1 seconds also, we no need to worry right ? If this is sure, i don't need to go for any therapy sir. I can go well. Only confusion has got because of that doctor's comment.
This is a completely unrealistic fear, and yes, you do need to go for therapy, because your anxiety is out of control.

Getting blood in your eyes is a theoretical risk for HIV.  Maybe one or two health care workers got HIV this way in the 40+ year history of HIV.  MAYBE.   The population of the earth is near 8 billion people.  If you are paralyzed with fear over a 1 in 8 billion chance of anything, then the problem is not disease - it is anxiety.
But madam, here itself mentioned that nobody ever got HIV due to blood splash.  What is the most severe chance of that? Is this because the health care worker working in laboratory condition?  I can't even afford a small minute chance mam. That is only belongs to this HIV virus.  my mind had already caught in that position. I am the one who never practice any kind of multiple sexual habits.
Hi - the risks for HIV have been explained to you.  We also suggest that you seek counseling to help you overcome your irrational fears.  There is nothing more to say about this type of event.
