Hiv oral

This is frustrating. I see here that oral is a zero chance for HIV. Yet others on the internet say it can happen. I had a one-off oral encounter with another male. Some semen may have got in mouth, but no swallow. I chew tobacco sometimes and brush teeth every day, but no big cuts or sores in mouth. Should I test for HIV? I'm married. I tested for gon, cyph oral and genital. Dr Handsfield told me yesterday on another site that HPV from a single oral encounter is highly unlikely, like one chance in several thousand. No Herp symptoms visible that night or noticed since. So that leaves HIV as the last obstacle in feeling in clean and can put this regrettable act behind me. I also didn't enjoy it and my shame is likely affecting me. I'll never do this again. Thanks for any advice.

Theoretical risk and true risk are very different and experts agree that people do not get HIV from oral sex.  We are now closing this discussion.

Its not a risk, and should you test for it,it would prove that statement is true.

Instead of repeating information, I'll refer you to CurfewX's comment on this subject earlier today.  Also, if you received advice from Dr. Handsfield, you'll know that he has consistently maintained that testing for HIV after an oral encounter isn't warranted.
