Home Access Question

Okay, so I had a few exposures during late November and early December, unprotected cunnilingus 4 times with one tongue insertion into the vagina with swallowing, and protected sex two times. I'm not really worried about the protected sex but I was worried about the cunnilingus despite the low risks, so I decided to take the test Monday this week. The result was thankfully negative, but before they told me the result they stated that they recommended testing at a six-months mark. I'd like to know whether this is necessary, since it has been 5 months since my last exposure. I know Home  Access is trustworthy but I also heard it is Generation 1, so does this affect the window period it takes to detect HIV? Thanks for your responses in advance.

Six months is the old guidelines. You didn't have a risk to begin with.
