Hiv risk?

Good afternoon,
Last night I engaged sexually with a male whereby we were naked and he was grinding on top of me. A couple times it felt like the head of my penis was pressing against his anus. When I asked him afterwards if it went inside he said no. Hypothetically if it had pressed against his anus I’m assuming there’s no risk because there was no penetration? Thanks

If there was no act of anal penetration,  risk can not be associated with this event. If you engage in unprotected intercourse with partners of unknown sero-status, it wouldn't be a bad idea to schedule routine STD test for your and the safety of the others. No risk from the described event, testing is not recommended.

The science doesn't change so no reason to ask again.
