I'm very confused about conclusive. I took a test at 9.5 almost 10 weeks from my last exposure.
I didn't know him very well. We didn't use a condom. We slept together quite a number of times.
At about 2 or 3 weeks I had a regular blood drawn and it was negative. Then 9.5 - 10 weeks later, I
took a uni-gold HIV-1/2 recom test at the clinic. It was negative. The guy said it has to be 13 weeks
for a 99.9%. 100%, I would have to wait total of 6 months.
The guy said he's been doing it 15 years and they test about 10000/year. In that time, he has had one
gay man take 6 months to turn positive.
How can I tell if I could be one of those people who takes longer to develop antibodies? I don't do drugs and
I'm not on any kind of other medication. I'm a black female. I've heard blacks are less likely to get ARS then
other races? Do I really need to wait 6 months.
