Shower towel?

Can you get infected from using someone else's towel by accident in the shower?

I rinsed and applied soap first and used it to wash everywhere including my urethra, I'd say it was probably used an hour before me and still wet. Thinking maybe it could've had someone else's vaginal fluid on it going into my urethra when i washed

I know this sounds kindadumb, just had a negative test yesterday and a little paranoid

Your question has been fully answered that you had no risk.

You seem to be paranoid about an irrational fear. HIV can be transmitted if you have unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse or share needles to inject drugs with an HIV positive person.

You were never at risk, please see a counselor if you are unable to think rationally. You don't have an HIV concern.

I must say I agree because it has been clearly stated to you that you had no risk but you continued to ask. At some point, you have to see that the issue is not the towel in question but your anxiety. Get help for the anxiety and this should get better.
okay i honestly realize that i do have some anxiety pertaining to this.

but my last question is:

if the towel had vaginal fluid with a high viral load on it and i used it an hour later is it still considered no risk??

Uh, no. You can not get HIV from a towel.  HIV as previously stated to you is only transmitted through unprotected vaginal or anal intercourse or sharing IV drug needles.  Air inactivates the virus and you can not get HIV from a surface and certainly not a towel.

Even if there is a high viral load?
And using it to wash my urethra?

Also what if there was hypothetically a high viral load in possible vaginal fluid on towel?
