reading my post again... everything says it is HIV :'(
Thank you...
I really hope what you're saying is the real case
Thank you again :)
If you will, I have follow up questions:
1) Other than mono is there any onther illness that would cause such symptoms(considering the severe fatigue and night sweats and the painless enlarged lymph nodes)?
2) I found out later on that person B's last potential exposure was an unprotected anal sex on 04/03. Will your answers to my previous questions change?
3) Also, will you change your answers if I told you that I had never had such a mix of symptoms before ?
How will no risk change when you used a condom?
The oral sex part was unprotected (no ejaculation)
Plus recently I noticed:
1) That bruises and even minor cuts and injuries (like scratches form my cat) take a long time to heal...
2) Shotty lymph nodes in my groin and armpit + kinda enlarged lymph nodes in my neck (posterior cervical + under jaw + behind ear)
so maybe what I'm betting on here is only mono, right ? (or a combination of other infections, weird timing and a coincidence) :(
Forgive my anxiety and my endless questions - I'm sure you can understand what I'm going through... especially knowing that there is no way for me to afford hiv treatment
Thank you Mr. Vance2335
my answer is not going to change
According to how short your answers are Mr. Vance2335, it is clear that you have been asked the same questions over and over again...
I'm gonna get re-tested two weeks from now (and maybe one more time the next moth) and I'll post my result (which is gonna be negative- I hope) as it is so important for other people experiencing similar symptoms and anxiety...
Thank you... :)
My answers are short because giving too much detail at times can confuse people and with the amount of questions asked daily and amount of time I have to do this, I need my answers to be short.
Yes I have been asked them over and over but my answer is the same for all of them.
And if it is reassurance you want despite safe sex then go for a test!
I will. I'm waiting for this window period thing to elapse...
The only test available where I live is ELIZA that means an extra month of anxiety and self-diagnosis (which helps a lot !)
Protected sex is a safe sex practice.
Congratulations on your negative , remember only test can tell the truth but never the symptoms.
HIV has no clinically defined symptoms.. it always mimic to other illness , so testing at 3 months can reveal the mystery which you have already done so.
Stop worrying about it.
It doesn't matter. You do not have HIV. You can move on.
2) Yes because you had no HIV risk
3) You had no risk
