You have had a risk from the condom slip. A lower level one, but a risk nonetheless. You can test with an antibody test now for a near-conclusive indication of your true status. Then again at 3 months to comply with CDC guidelines.
I do not expect you to test positive from a one time condom malfunction. Also, you cannot use symptoms to self-diagnose yourself with HIV. They could be linked to a number of different things. The only way to know your status is to test.
Thank you for the reply. I am traveling for a new job so I won't be able to have any test for 2 weeks and that's the only way to know. Is it common for the body temp to fluctuate like this. I just need some piece of mind for the next 2 weeks. I know the chances are low but neverthe less the risk is there. I am also in very good shape I'm an athlete and have not lost any weight I'm stronger than I was and no rashes. It's the temperature and taste in my kmouth that's getting me really scared
Once again, symptoms mean nothing. The only way to know your status is to test.
Thank you, I know I was just hoping to learn some of the symptoms better. There' is conflicting info online. I guess I'm going to have to be scared for the next 2 weeks
