Need re-assurance

Hi,

I had sex with a commercial sex worker 3 months back in China. She was very aware about STDs and its prevention and put on condom on me as soon as we began. She performed oral with condom on and then we proceeded for penetrative sex with condom. The condom did not break and was intact when i removed it. After 3 months i got unexplained rashes on my shoulder and near armpit on both sides. They were very itchy, but were gone after a week, however some mark is still there.

Now I am worried about HIV. Do i need to get tested for HIV? Reading at previous posts I think this is no risk, however i am scared. Can someone please help.

Thanks for releiving some stress and anxiety. I think I read it on CDC site that kissing is risky activity. However, I am just being paranoid. But still, just to reduce stress, i would get myself tested after a few days to put all the doubts at rest and update you of the results.

There has never been a documented case of HIV from kissing.

I think that 1 case of french kiss involved in bleeding gums / bad oral hygienes.

Thanks remorse and Lizzie. However i forgot to add that we also engaged in french kiss and i read everywhere that it is a very low risk (only 1 case detected so far attributing to kissing), which gave me nightmares. Is there a chance that I am the second case of getting infected with HIV by kissing :-(

why would you think that your rash is related to hiv????  you had PROTECTED sex where the condom did NOT fail.

you do not have a hiv concern :)

I am not an expert, but I am sure the experts will repeat "no risk" and "no need to test" since u used condom and remained intact.
