Early HIV Symptoms? 3 1/2 wks since unprotected Sex.

Possible exposure almost 4 weeks ago. This past week has been hard for Me. The thought itself is driving me crazy. Day 19 after possible exposure I got tested at a clinic with the oral swab (Oraquick) test, it was Neg. But it may have been too soon. Anyway This past week I have had muscle and joint pain this pain in my ears mostly left side and numbness in my neck area.  Havemt had any fever that I know of Although I did feel hot for two days.  But the head ache and muscle aches is what is mainly worrying Me.  Could this be a possible symptom of early HIV or do u usually get real sick all at once with the fever and sore throat and chills?

No the only test available at Pharmacies are Oraquick and it's too early for that. Just call around and find a clinic that offers a 4th generation test.

Your symptoms don't indicate infection.

What was your exposure?
