it is highly unlikely that a 9 week negative would change at 12 weeks.
if i retest at 12 weeks can anybody tell me what could be the chances now as my 9 week report come negative..
3 months is conclusive for HIV. This thread belongs in the HIV Prevention forum- I have flagged it as miscategorized for the mods can move it.
From my research online and through medhelp 8 weeks is accurate.
If you were exposed to a HIV+ person you should get tested at 3 and 6 months, but that is to be absolute sure.
I believe that the CDC recommendation is 8 weeks, 12 weeks was the old recommendation.
Tests are more sensitive now.
i am talking about elisa antibody HIV
what specific test are you asking about? elisa is a way of testing, not a specific test for a specific std.
