If you tested 3 months post exposure, your test is conclusive.
An Oraquick home swab test is almost (almost) impossible to screw up. The instructions are clear. The "C" line is a built in safety feature that tells you the test has run it's course and has detected other cells in the oral mucosal fluid, it is not just a confirmation of capillary action of the test stick. So, the only thing you need to worry about is if you took the test at least 12 weeks post possible exposure.
If that is the case then you do not have HIV.
The "C" line is the control line that tells you that the test is good and that the pad collected enough oral mucosal transudate to obtain a valid test result.
Yes it was actually 16,16,17 weeks and I followed directions , swab gums once don't eat or drink thirty min prior to test and wait twenty minutes for results .. So I'm good??
Yes, you are conclusively negative.
