Hi, I am a 30 year old male from Australia. Almost 3 weeks ago, I had sex with a female sex worker from Belarus. I performed unprotected cunnilingus on her and then continued to protected vaginal intercourse. Since then, I have been worried about the possibility of getting HIV from this encounter. Some of the details of the encounter :
- I brushed my teeth vigorously 30 mins before the encounter.
- I had chewing gum in my mouth throughout the encounter. ( while doing cunnilingus also )
- I never thought of HIV risk before, so never occurred to me to ask the lady about her status.
- Do not think she was menstruating (thats my observation, I never cared to ask her)
- She gave me unprotected oral.
- She got the condom, put it on my penis and after the act, it seemed OK. No leakage or Breakage of any kind.
Does this encounter put me in risk for HIV, considering I was chewing gum throughout the encounter. My mouth seemed dry because of that. Does that increase my risk for getting HIV?
If I need to get tested, will the HIV duo test on 29th Day be conclusive? Or will I need another test after 3 months mark?
Will the tests for all the other STDs conclusive at 29th Day Mark?
Also, I did not notice any symptoms like fever, rash or cold, apart from some heavy headedness due to the stress this one time encounter is causing. Really want to put it behind me.
