Has anyone ever been infected with HIV from precum?

I am so anxious.  I had an episode of a "slip-up."  My partner "pulled out" before ejaculating in me.  And the bad thing about it is we'd used condoms the evening prior and that morning....slip-up happened.  I'm going to get tested as soon as possible but I'm so afraid!  He says there wasn't any precum and when he pulled out, he ended up ejaculating in the toilet.  I'm just so afraid that there was precum.  I know that before a male ejaculates, there is sometimes "precum."  I need to know if it's likely that I could be infected from the precum??  Even though he says there wasn't any.  I don't see how he could tell the difference between his precum and my vaginal fluids....

This discussion is related to pre-cum-theoritical or real?.

Any unprotected sex leaves you with a risk. Whehter ejaculation happens or not.If your partner was aroused during sex..which it would have been impossible for him not to be...then there had to be precum. and you are right theres no way for him to tell the difference. Anyway get a sex 3 mth post exposure, better yet ask him to be tested , find out his status.
