i want you thoughts for educational

hello guys i appreciate your work on guide people to the right information about HIV transmission and prevention i work in a clinic that provide a hotline to help people understand HIV transmission and is they need a test or not so i noticed last days people often ask about catch HIV from barbershops and the equipment they used and here in India a lot of barbers using the same tools in multiple customers such as ( razors - brushes - towels - alum block) we keep saying razor cannot transmit HIV because of it's inactivity outside the human body i want your thought i made a search about alum i think you guys know it , it's a chemical of aluminum and potassium that used in a lot of things in our life and often being shaped like crystal or stone and used in barber shops as a styptic to stop the bleeding from minor shave cuts do you think that it's porous could trap the blood inside it and pass it to the next customer because its often being used in multiple custmoers and cause an infection because the blood has not exposed to air that way i guess , thanks in advance

NO chance.  NO one has ever contracted HIV in a barber shop, unless they happened to be having unprotected vaginal or anal sex in the barber shop, or unless they decided to inject drugs and share intravenous needles while getting a shave and a haircut.

HIV is NOT transmitted by any tools or products that a barber would use.  Not razors, not styptic - nothing.

Do not have unprotected sex with someone who's status you don't know, and don't share IV needles with drug users, and you'll never have to worry about HIV.
