Possibility of HIV contraction

Hi,

I had sex with a sex worker on 7th Feb. I used condom but not sure whether it was a latex or non latex condom. It did not slide or break during or after the intercourse. I travelled to a different country one week after that and started having fever. My blood tests were normal when I got myself tested. My WBC was very much in range. It was 7.4 after 2 weeks of the above mentioned date and 6.9 2 more weeks later.Later blood tests revealed that my ESR and CRP were elevated although all other components were normal. I had no symptoms except fever since then. There was some effusion around my heart and lungs for which I was administered antibiotics. My heart and lung functions were normail and I was tested negative for Rheumatoid and Influenza.I started having pain in the right upper part of my abdomen while breathing. Doctors conducted CAT Scan and found fluid. After more than 5 weeks of the above mentioned date, I started having minor lymph node swelling under my armpits and neck. Now its been six weeks and the swelling is still there but fever has gone simultaneously. My stools are solid but I observed few drops of blood yesterday. I dont have headache and did not have weight loss with no joint pains. I cud sense some sore throat but it was only after I get up in the morning. It goes after that.
Doctors never suggested me to go for antibodies test. They have been telling me that its some infection which would go by itself.

Please let me know whether these symptoms are HIV symptoms. I am concerned since my all the symptoms did not appear together. They appeared seperately.
3-4 specialist doctors (Cardiologist,Internal Medicine, Pulmonologist,Rheumatologist) have observed my condition but they did not suggest me to go for HIV testing.

But I am very worried because of my high rish behaviour. Can these symptoms be of HIV. Please help

No way!

HIV is transmitted by: UNPROTECTED vaginal/anal sex, sharing needles for injecting drugs, mother to child.

You don't have HIV. End of discussion.

Polyurethane condom (non-latex condom) is just as effective in preventing HIV as a latex condom.

Is there a remote possibility of infecting the condom with HIV and then re-packing it.

Which means I may have contracted HIV if the condom used by me was non latex one.
What r the chances that I may be infected

Regardless latex or polyurethane condom, you were protected against HIV.

"Effectiveness of Condoms"

There are many different types and brands of condoms available—however, only latex or polyurethane condoms provide a highly effective mechanical barrier to HIV. In laboratories, viruses occasionally have been shown to pass through natural membrane ("skin" or lambskin) condoms, which may contain natural pores and are therefore not recommended for disease prevention (they are documented to be effective for contraception). Women may wish to consider using the female condom when a male condom cannot be used.

I am concerned since I read that non latex condoms do not protect HIV and I dont know whether I used latex or non latex condoms. My symptoms like long lasting fever, lymphnode swelling, blood in the stool are similar to that of HIV symptoms.
Is there a possibility of me contracting HIV with these symptoms

You were not at risk of HIV from what you describe. Condom protected sex is safe sex. Condoms serve as an impermeable barrier that prevents the exchange of body fluids that transmit the virus. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.
