ppl lie about their exposures for many different reasons, ie. to protect themselves from embarrassment, protect their families, save their marriage, etc.
Hi guys, you know somethings are very confuding especially when you read stories from people that recently have aquired HIV - Have been reading on POZ. There are loads of people that have tested at 4 weeks and it was negative however ended up positive. They have all the symptoms that i have and yes they do last sometimes longer than 6 weeks. Some even confirmed that they have had it come in sequences in a sense of different symptoms in different weeks. Some even claim and are really ceratin that they have contracted this via oral sex. I cannot help but look into all of these things and no disrespect to anyone that have responded however my wive and my symptoms are just too scary to be true as well as identical to those that i have read now.
Thanks, I will test and will inform you of the results at six weeks.Sorry but becoming more stressed daily
It might be the guilt, but it certainly is not Hiv that is the issue here. You never had a risk, you haven't infected your wife and if you can't accept this fact then you need therapy.I have nothing further to add to this discussion. My best advice to you is to get off the computer and spend time with your family. All the best.
Rainlover i can't get over the fact that i might have been infected and may have infected her (Tears)......We have 2 small kids and i was so stupid.
I feel so miserable that my body feels like it is shutting down, just the thought that i went down on that sex worker. How foolish i was and now all these symptoms in six weeks. How strange
The CDC is ultra conservative and not up with the times, your wifes symptoms are not related to Hiv because she doesn't have the virus and neither do you.The doctors in our expert forum have their own opinions about oral sex and it's zero risk factor and they also have their opinions about window periods for certain Hiv tests which is different to the CDC.
