Anxiety Taking its toll

Hey Guys Please advise,

I recently had sex(oral and vaginal) with a female. About a two days later I have been experiencing very high anxiety about the event. I constantly question the girl about her HIV status and she assured me that she was HIV negative and that she got tested in December and has not been with noone of 7 months. I believe her however I am still have the possibility of HIV on my mind.  I have not been able to sleep for 2weeks, feel like I cant swallow, my mouth is dry, and I am constantly drained. Is this a sign of the anxiety and stress from my guilt or are these signs of HIV symptoms

Most people don't tell or they don't know their status to begin with. You never take someone's word that they are negative.

Look,

YOU HAD PROTECTED SEX, NO RISK!

1. Even if your partner was HIV positive (most people tell the truth), you had 1 our of 1000 chances to catch it.
2. Oral unprotected sex is NO RISK., 1:10000.

Go get tested to relieve your anxiety, calm down. Your results will be negative.

As Teak pointed out in another post. HIV isn`t a guessing game. 95% is encouraging but doesn`t mean the all clear. It means theres 5% left to chance Sadly those are the facts.

I`m in the UK and they`ll tell you 3 months is conclusive but admit its a case of `belt AND braces`. Looking at things realistically, people ask on here for advice for one reason only. They`re concerned. For every worried person (not a bad thing) that panics a bit and asks theres a dozen that don`t know/care/notice.
I don`t see the sick point of scaremongering as we`ve all been there. The fact that we care about our health gives us a heck of better chance than the rest.
Good luck to all of you with your tests.

85-90% - 4 weeks
90-95% - 5 weeks
95-98% - 6 weeks
99% - 8 weeks
99.xxxx at 3 months.

Not sure how you want to take this. Grain of salt or not. Israel goes by 2 month conclusive. Mass State says 6 weeks is done. Australia says 6 weeks. CDC says 3 months as do many other countries.

I recently got checked for HIV and STD's. It was 6 days afterwards and all test came back negative. What is the accuracy of the test after 4 weeks.

Anxiety is a killer dude. Don`t beat yourself up over this.  Look at it realistically. You had sex with a woman. Thats it. Thats what people do. I can`t guarantee you are 100% STD free but i`d put a big chunk of my money on it. Unless she sleeps regularly with bisexual men or you have some `real` reason to suspect she`s HIV+ then relax. Why would she lie?
Take a test at 6 weeks to calm yourself. You`ll be fine.
