HIV likelihood?

So for the past week I've been asking around here about HIV symptoms, as
I had unprotected oral with another man. I've had the flu, sore muscles, and most recently some low fever.

Then just today that man told me he got the results from a test he went to, the doctor said it was "borderline", but it was inconclusive and he's going for another test in a few weeks.

Just how screwed am I?

It can mean anything. Could mean his result was indeterminate, a false positive. They happen. However that his concern. The fact is you had no risk for contracting HIV from them.

Yes I understand that I have asked similar questions before.

I supposed I should have phrased my question differently.

Just how conclusive are "borderline" cases?

Just asked further and apparently he took a CMIA test, which I gather is a 4th generation combo test? I'm guessing his doc wants to wait a few more weeks for more conclusive results.

He mentioned he only had one other encounter after he tested negative last July, and the last guy before me was "a few weeks back", my encounter with him was 2 weeks and 5 days ago.

I'd like to also add that I'm still within the 4 week period so I'm still unable to get tested.
