Thank you very much!!! You are a very educated Person!!!
Yes the P24 can also produce a false negative. That happens when antibody production starts. Antibodies attach to the antigen and the P24 test can no longer detect the antigens and there is not enough antibodies for the antibody test to detect give a false negative result. That is the reason the P24 test has a very short window period of 3-4 weeks.
P24 can generate false negative ?
Don't take a P24 test it's a waste of money, can give false positives and has to be followed up with an antibody test.
Chris so most of the people here with these long term symptoms, chronic sore throat, sore armpits, rashes etc are most likely from stress and anxiety.
According to CDC ARS appears 2-4 weeks after of an HIV infection in the 80% of the recently infected people. Unprotected anal sex is high risk activity for catch HIV. This info is not to scare this beauty girl. Firstmistakeisth you can be tested with a P24 antigen test. Is very early for an Elisa Test.
thanks chris.............
I have prayed for you... dont worry... everything will be fine... just trust on god... he will make everything fine.
is it possible to have ars at say 6-15 weeks or is always in that 2-4 window?
Go collect your negative result and move on.
Couldnt it start earlier? I mean the symptoms? Does the time depend on , what type of exposure it was ? Blood? other bodily fluids?
ARS comes on 2-4 weeks after infections.
ARS is not very common in 2 and half weeks. I give you a good karma for your HIV test. The odds are in your side. In 12 weeks, I hope that we will celebrate your HIV - test.
Wishing you a very good luck. Lesson learned is obvious, choose only one at a time between sex and alcohol and no "battle" without a "shield". It is true that pleasure of sex with unknown one timer does not last for more than a few minutes but the "pick" of the event stays with us to the last.
Hope everything is ok with you......
No you would not be the only one with HIV here.
Isnt that too early for a test.... Whatever I have read so far, definitive results are only at 12th week.
Good luck with your test. My thoughts are with you.
