Daveansh is right, Dosent matter how much testing, 3 Months quote puts doubt in you brain. Window period of 6 month on CDC makes things worse.
I trusted 100% 3 month test.
However symptoms got worse AFTER, so checked at 23 weeks. Negative.
I think If you test Negative Past 6 weeks, No matter what test or symptoms, they will always continue to be Negative 99%. Thats the Limit of these tests.
Paranoid Me, too thought about rare strains/ seronversion etc

However if you are having "symptoms", you WILL have antibodies, so negative is negative.
FORGET delayed seroconversion.  Youd be dead without Ab's
Rare strains are RARE. Checked  A/O/G. with abbott determine/First diagnostic kits
Most elisa's are Hiv1 +2 anyway.

Out of several MILLIONS of tests less than handful i.e -5-10!! have Missed Hiv, after window,
due to Odd/New variant. Remember Han solo, Never tell me the odds!

Even if the Virus was damaged/ Changed somehow. Most of the Genetic material is same and one of the antigens would be detectable by standard tests. (Even Hiv 1 specific tests usually detect Hiv 2 upto 50% of time)

Last resort if DNA PCR was False negative too, for Above reasons (e.g antigenic shift), they could locate Reverse transcriptase in special labs. Maybe in the Handful in several million cases

The odds are Mind boggling. Fact is 50% of Hiv Patients don't even know and dont Care!!!! Having a Great time and Full Life. Dr. Bob at thebody for example. Life isnt over.

Even if you Found out you Had some Million to One Chance, You cant do anything about it anyway!!

So Trust the Doctors, Trust the 6/12 Week results, Break the testing cycle after your most Comfortable window, and Live!!!!!!!!!!
It's Hard but we can do it

10 weeks neg is very very encouraging..i dont think people who are neg at 10 weeks will ever be positive unless they take another risk in between..but like most of us here..it will still not change ur mind set..cause u do know that the conclusive test is at 3 months...so be strong and wait for the next 2 weeks and get tested..and then move on with ur life peacefully..cheers mate

one more thing  be safe and be smart next time. Sex could last a minute by HIV will last forever.
Wash your hand on this event and move on with your life good luck on your 12 / 13 week test and collect your negative result i strongly believe it will.

it dont matter either 12 or 13 week it depends on your option. i got tested on the 12 week mark. 12 or 13 week is conclusive.
